What is a connected jewel?
Our connected jewelry refers to a jewel crafted according to the highest standards of the art of jewelry-making, incorporating discreet technology that enables it to offer additional features.
At Lumissoly, our jewelry is crafted in France by master jewelers and seamlessly integrates secure, durable NFC technology. This technology allows you to link your digital memories (photos, videos, messages) to your locket so you can preserve them, access them easily, and pass them on over time.
How does Lumissoly connected jewelry works?
Our medallions are equipped with an NFC chip linked to a secure personal storage space on the blockchain. To access it, simply hold your medallion near your smartphone, and a notification will appear at the top of your screen. Once you tap this notification, our app will open automatically (no download required), and you’ll simply need to enter your username and password to log in and view, share, or import your files.
Your access is therefore personal and private, just like your memories, which are your property and cannot be accessed by others.
Does the jewel radiate waves?
No, absolutely not. We use NFC technology, which is a passive technology: the NFC chip is activated only when you bring your smartphone close to the jewel. Communication therefore takes place directly through your smartphone’s NFC reader when you bring it close to the jewelry. Your security and privacy are our top priorities, and we use secure and discreet technologies to ensure your complete comfort. Bonus: it’s a standalone technology—it doesn’t need to be recharged.

Where is your jewelry made?
Our products are crafted in a certified French jewelry workshop. We use recycled silver and mother-of-pearl from French Polynesia, which is also hand-carved.
This partner was carefully selected after several trials to ensure that our products meet market standards. You’ll also find a hallmark on each of our medallions certifying the quality of the alloy.
